Council & Craft specializes in design, build and furnish. When you work with Council & Craft there is no need to manage designers and contractors; we take care of everything so you don't have to. Our team of designers and craftsmen are headed by our ownership team as general contractor so take care of the project from start to finish to ensure our clients enjoy improving their homes or businesses. We work in room buildout such as kitchen or bath remodels, and we do full scale projects. Council & Craft also boasts a line of hand built custom furniture available only to our clients. Our ability to handle the design, build out, and final furnishing of a home separates us from the pack and gives our clients the security they need that the job will be done right. We work with interior designers and custom millwork professionals and we provide high quality finish outs for people looking for the finest quality in the Dallas metroplex and beyond.
Bryan is a designer specializing in residential and commercial design + build. His work has been featured in Perspectives on Design Southwest, a regional book comprised of top trades for building and finishing homes.
Bryan holds a BS-Interior Design from Oklahoma State University. He began his career in 1998 working for OFC, one of North America’s largest retail design and manufacturers, and it’s subsidiary, Recherche. He spent nearly five years designing furniture and interiors for the company, including such projects as the Oklahoma City Memorial Museum Shop and the OSU Heritage Hall.
He relocated to Dallas, TX in 2002 and spent time designing furniture for local manufacturers before taking a furniture design position with the eponymous Pier 1 Imports. Pier 1 Imports' international efforts gave Bryan the fortunate experience of traveling overseas for work and giving him great insight into high volume design and worldwide consumer desires.
Bryan began working independently in 2005 with his first solo venture, Studio Wetz (), which now operates as Council & Craft.
